Welcome to On the Road — a simple page where I share a photograph and a thought from wherever I happen to be parked.
I have been making landscape photographs for thirty years — starting with film, moving to digital, driving back roads and climbing ridgelines across America. Somewhere along the way the photography became a doorway into something I hadn’t expected to find. That story is in my book, A Gentle Spirit Within.
This page is where the journey continues. I travel full time in an RV along the East Coast, still making photographs, still paying attention. When something worth sharing comes along — an image, a place, a thought that won’t leave me alone — I’ll put it here.
